Summary

Responsible for receiving of materials procured by Altek Electronics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following, other duties may be assigned:

• Receives purchased parts, assemblies, accessories, and materials in a timely manner.
• Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit.
• Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order.
• Distribute chemicals to manufacturing areas on a daily basis
• Determine conformance to work instructions, IPC or J-STD standards, and internal quality/workmanship standards
• Supports supervisors and/or operators in the resolution of quality problems
• Maintain quality records including inspection reports, corrective action reports, etc.
• Create Non Conforming Materials Reports when required
• Actively participates in quality initiatives by participating in problem solving, process improvements and performance measurements.
• Responsible for understanding & following company, and or manufacturing guidelines/procedures
• Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications.
• Requisition and store receiving and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Responsible for following established safety rules & 6S

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to read & understand assembly prints
• Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision

Education and/or Experience

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

Working Conditions

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 75 pounds.
