Retail Loss Prevention Director oversees a team of loss prevention staff that is responsible for safeguarding company assets from losses due to theft or fraud. Develops loss prevention and security policies and procedures. Being a Retail Loss Prevention Director creates and implements accounting and operational processes to reduce risk and losses. Directs investigations and the implementation of loss prevention programs. Additionally, Retail Loss Prevention Director may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Retail Loss Prevention Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Retail Loss Prevention Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. *Our expectation (and yours) would be that you would receive 8-24 hours per week. Sure, there could be weeks with zero hours, but more than likely, one or two shifts should be expected to cover call offs, military deployments, vacations, Dr appointments, etc. If you end up liking Metro One, there are always full time shifts that become available if you decided to go that route.
