Job Title: Director of Safety, Security, & Loss Prevention

Job Summary:

The Safety, Security, and Loss Prevention Director is responsible for directing the safety and security compliance programs in accordance with Domino’s and Team Honey Badger Standards. This key leadership position will be responsible for the day to day design, implementation, and monitoring of security programs as well as fostering a culture of profitability utilizing the principles of loss prevention.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts ongoing analysis of current systems and makes recommendations, as needed
- Analyze store data utilizing relational database resources and exception based reporting
- Drafts or creates reports that provide accurate assessments of the audit areas, including identification of probable manipulation or internal theft, recommending solutions to any problems identified
- Completes post-accident/incident investigation and corresponding report on root causes and hazards including preventative measures
- Design and Direct Safety and Security Compliance Programs, to include:
- Drives compliance of cash control accountability for the organization including tracking of store till counts, daily cash counts, deposit tracking, and verification of deposit disposition
- Manages key control program.
- Drives 100% compliance on all vehicle safety inspections.
- Drives 100% compliance with THB drug testing program in conjunction with HR and operations partners.
- Drives compliance of cash paid out policy at the store level
- Conducts video reviews of S&S incidents, including employee injuries, and provides to those involved in the investigation of such incidents.
- Provides supervision and guidance to Safety and Security Manager
- Audits and investigates various sources of known losses as needed.
- Supports and upholds all goals set by Team Honey Badger.
- Represents Team HB Core Values at a high level.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Ensure success of franchise MVR programs
- Participates in various Field Activities, including:
- Responds to crisis management situations, auto accidents, team member injuries, and security incidents as needed.
- Guides the execution of S&S assessment program.
- Conducts installation of camera systems as needed.
- Miscellaneous Duties
- Participates or instructs, as needed, in internal leadership development courses.
- Provides consultative solutions, training, and guidance to the operations team on safety and security functions.
- Produces professional level, high quality, well thought-out, formatted, and written reports and presentations.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have the ability to draft clearly written memos and other internal communications using proper grammar, correct formatting, and at a professional standard.
- Ability to apply advanced technology solutions to meet daily metrics.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software with the ability to use excel to present and sort data into meaningful information.
- Must be located in the Twin Cities, MN Metro area or willing to relocate.
- Must be willing and able to regularly travel locally to conduct training and on-site visits as needed. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Education and Experience:
- 5 years of progressive experience leading safety and security compliance programs, including physical security systems, risk assessment and management, and leading incident responses.
- Multiple location restaurant experience strongly preferred
- Industry certification a plus (CFI, CPP, PSP, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- The incumbent will be required to stand, walk and sit, talk or hear, both in person and by phone. Manual dexterity is required.
- Occasional prolonged periods of standing, working in a fast-paced environment, sometimes must withstand extreme temperatures.
- Occasional out of area travel is required (<10%)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
