The Project Manager-Marketing will oversee and ensure the successful delegation and completion of ongoing tasks across multiple marketing initiatives. This role will partner with initiative leads and subject matter experts to define objectives, KPIs, workflows, and timelines, and hold team members accountable for their contributions.
Essential Functions:
• Serve as project manager for various marketing initiatives including menu, campaigns, and events
• Create/review project proposals to validate scope and objectives; leverage proposals to determine timing, budget, phases, and resources for the project
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan including key deliverables and milestones
• Prepare and manage budget based on scope of work and predicted resources; track project costs effectively and efficiently to meet budget
• Conduct risk assessment and mitigation throughout the project
• Provide leadership and motivation to project team members and coach project leads on project management approaches and best practices
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Monitor project activities, ensuring quality and integrity, while providing consistency in content, approach and presentation across Marketing
• Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation to be utilized by the marketing project leads
• Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
• Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution
• 3-5 years of project management or related experience, prefer some experience in a marketing-related role
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proven ability to solve problems creatively and is extremely resourceful
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools (SmartSheet, MS Project, Miro), methodologies, and best practices
• Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle and proven success in delivering results within scope, budget and timeline
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Approaches work proactively and is detail-oriented
