Rugged Roots and Sinsemilla are two Maine based, Veteran Owned sister companies. As we continue to grow and excel in this industry in Maine, we are looking for a highly motivated individual to be a part of our team as the Director of Retail.
The Rugged Roots/Sinsemilla Retail Director would be responsible for the following:
Oversees the retail operations for Sinsemilla/Rugged Roots, including scheduling of 25 employees
Oversees the outsource and Rugged Roots ordering done by store managers and is the point person for inventory schedule for all stores and in conjunction with Compliance Admin, oversees any issues related to inventory
Orders any consumable good products needed for all stores via weekly/monthly needs lists from managers
Responsible to be present in each store, each week
Conducts regular meetings with managers and employees to ensure the efficiency of the store and to disperse any needed information to the stores from headquarters
Oversees the flow of product in the stores with delegation to store managers to create reports and monitor aging product/product with expiration dates in their specific store
Ensures stores are properly staffed at all times
Participates in weekend on-call rotation
Responsible to report the sales of each store weekly to leadership and work in collaboration with staff to increase retail sales
Work in coordination with management team to maintain State and Local laws governing recreational and medical cannabis sales
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Experience in management, retail operations, employee retention

Experience in the Cannabis industry, data entry, attention to detail, accountability
