The Director of Business Development, Retail, is the strategic sales leader of our retail vertical. This position directly finds, develops and manages retail accounts across North America. This role develops and grows sales of company products within retail accounts, and acts as the liaison between our internal underwriting teams related to new product development, as well as manages existing house accounts and distributor accounts. This person will represent the company at industry trade events.
We're looking for Service Sales Avengers, with real rolodexes of accounts in the furniture retail and mixed retail verticals. We're looking for white elephants hunters and big deal closers. Experience in retail warranty programs is a huge plus!
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university; or 3 to 5 year’s related experience and/or training within the warranty sales industry in a sales leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience-prior experience with retail and e-commerce channels is preferred.
