Primary responsibilities of this position include:- Export and audit weekly store sales from Point-of-Sale system.
- Maintain and update sales-based calculations used to collect fees from franchisees and payment of commissions to Area Reps.
- Manage the accounting portion of the Store Assistance Program.
- Set up store information within accounting software and internal spreadsheets.
- Assess processes to potentially improve efficiency in responsibilities.
- Request ACH’s for franchise and grand opening fees and miscellaneous adjustments.
- Process, record and collect NSF payments.
- Provide reports to other departments as required.
Education, Experience- Accounts Payable experience
- Associates degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance, preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Competencies- Capable of completing tasks with little supervision.
- Ability to work independently and at times in an at-home work environment.
- Detail oriented, efficient and ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to use modern accounting software system such as Great Plains – Dynamics and the Microsoft suite of office productivity software.
- Confident communicator who can interact with people at all levels of the company.
- Ability to prioritize work demands and multitask.
