We are currently seeking candidates to join our exceptional team for the following position:
Job Title: Retail Trainer
Location: Main Office
Position Summary: Assists the Retail Training Manager with the development, implementation, and coordination of on-the-job training programs and specialized technical training for Retail staff. Conducts test bank training for both new Tellers and Customer Service Representatives including all required regulatory trainings. Provides support for Retail staff with initial and on-going in-branch training. Acts as a resource to retail staff by assisting with difficult or complicated customer transactions.
Essential Functions:

Consistently provides superior professional service to internal and external customers, following the standards of the Customer Impressions program.

Consistently meets expectations of teamwork, punctuality, and regular, reliable attendance.

Works closely with the Retail Training Manager to gain knowledge of requirements for training tellers to better understand existing or changing policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.

Monitors trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training. Discusses problem areas with trainees’ direct supervisor and recommends solutions or additional training. Reports to trainees’ direct supervisor on progress of employees during training periods. Completes end-of-training evaluations for trainees.

Completes 6–8-week follow-up teller trainee evaluation to ensure continued progress.

Provides teller operations training to new Senior Tellers/TOMs.

Functions in a Float Teller and Float CSR capacity, working in various branch offices to provide training and appropriate coverage.

Acts as a role model for trainees, demonstrating a high energy level, appropriate dress, good work habits, a positive outlook, a commitment to providing outstanding customer service and following the standards of the Customer Impressions program, and a strong desire to contribute to the bank’s success.

Supports the Retail Training Manager on special projects and tasks for Retail Administration.

In support of the Retail Training Manager, acts as a resource for branch personnel regarding policies, procedures, and transaction processing.
Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
The following skills, experience, or background are necessary (with or without accommodation) for this position.

Minimum of two (2) years teller and CSR experience.
-
Demonstrated proficiency of all skills associated with the teller and CSR positions, and a thorough knowledge and understanding of bank policies and procedures.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret various manuals, procedures, and regulatory materials.

Demonstrates strong presentation and facilitation skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from trainees, customers, or groups of employees.

Strong math skills, including the ability to apply concepts, such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrates effective interpersonal and employee development skills, including the ability to be patient and supportive, giving constructive feedback in a positive manner.
