Position Overview: Regional Field Trainer
A Regional Field Trainer is a leader from the front lines. This is preferably a person with dynamic sales experience and/or sales training experience. The role is an immersive hands-on position. The Sales Trainer would be required to travel among regional footprint to train new reps on how to sell in each designated setting, develop the skill set of existing reps, as well as help coach and redirect any representations struggling with the risk of missing goals and targets.
The ideal candidate would be excitable, outgoing, and motivating. You should be easily able to identify sales representatives’ strengths and weaknesses and be able to develop a plan of action to help each individual rep develop their personal skill set to be successful.

Market Segments
All sales representatives will deal with 3 primary segments of customers. The retail field manager should be able to learn and develop tactics to deal with each market segment.
Skills / Requirements
*Reliable Transportation: Travel within an hour maximum daily may be required based on the regional territory and office locations
*Basic Computer / Mobile Skills: Primary order entry feature and most supporting tools are accessed via an online web portal.
*Sales Experience: This is not an entry-level sales position, although the proper candidate will spend 1-2 weeks in training understanding all aspects of the sales channel and position before assuming the role of field trainer.
*Reliability & Flexibility: The Regional Field Trainer will operate in a fast-paced dynamic. Our structure allows most sales representatives to have a very personalized flexible schedule which may change weekly, or daily without notice. The right trainer will thrive in an ever-changing environment and have the reliability and flexibility to adapt to make the most out of each day’s opportunity.
*Motivational and Positive: You will be put in situations where current reps may be struggling and their attitude may need to be redirected. The ideal field trainer can be overly optimistic even in difficult situations. To this person, failure is not an option, and they will have the ability to find success in any situation.
Entrepreneurial & Self-motivated: The Regional Field Trainer will eventually be able to operate semi-independently of central leadership. This role is instilled with much trust and flexibility. The right candidate can identify exactly how to schedule themselves for the work to yield maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Once the Regional Sales Trainer fully assumes the responsibilities of the role, they will have the liberty of creating their schedule based on where their services are needed most.
Goal-Oriented: Production goals, minimum quotas, and budgets are set weekly, monthly, and quarterly. The right Field Trainer will stop at nothing to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
Team Oriented: This is a front-line leadership position. This person must work and communicate well in a team environment. They will be working closely with our sales team, administration, field coordinators, and account executives. Having clear streamlined communications is crucial to the success of the team.
