    Salary
    This position has a base salary range of $51,200.00 - $76,800.00 USD Annual . This range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience and time in the role.

    Summary
    This role is responsible for creating long-term value for BCU by making a measurable impact on member participation and engagement within the Community Branches. This will be accomplished by developing and strengthening business relationships with key partners, identifying unmet opportunities to creatively position BCU products and services, and increasing channels of communication to maximize BCU exposure.

    Role and Responsibilities
    • Increase membership participation and engagement by working directly with the Senior Manager of Community Business Development and expanding channels of communication within the Community Charter.
    • Assist Service Center managers with local BD efforts.
    • Create a Vision and Marketing Plan to grow and develop targeted areas of community expansion.
    • Plan and execute on-location promotional events (benefit fairs, seminars, acquisition & awareness events, financial literacy at schools and office settings, openings, membership drives, etc.).
    • Organize and present information on the benefits of BCU membership, lunch and learns, HR meetings, or onsite with key decision makers, etc.
    • Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge as well as an in-depth understanding of BCU’s entire portfolio.
    • Work with Marketing to develop, launch and drive off-site promotions.
    • Demonstrate ability to promote, cross sell and convert members to available BCU products and services based on their needs.
    • Maintain accurate monthly tracking and metrics for department (i.e., profitability, ROI, cost to acquire, individual event scorecards).
    • Cultivate strong internal relationships with all BCU support departments.
    Qualifications and Education Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of successful sales, customer service or event planning experience required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required.
    • Experience in financial services (private banking, customer service, sales, lending, etc) preferred.
    • Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on departmental needs and business goals.
    • Proven track record of effective time-management and organization.
    • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team.
    • Must be a self-starter, self-motivating, ability to operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation/public speaking skills.
    • Travel is required; flexible work schedule.
    • Evening and weekend hours are frequently necessary.
    • Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) a plus.
