 Summary:

The Accounting Clerk supports all accounting operations including electronic filing, daily receipts, coding and posting vendor bills, account reconciliations, and responding to internal and external requests.

Essential Job Duties:

• Enters, scans, processes vendor bills into Stampli
• Reconciles credit card accounts
• Processes customer payments and makes daily deposit entries into Sage Intacct
• Applies customer credit to AR balance
• Assists with month-end closing duties such as reconciliation of statements and preparing customer's statements
• Completes vendor calls for invoice copies
• Completes customer calls for outstanding invoices
• Distributes monthly AR statements
• Reconciles AR aging between Service Titan and Sage Intacct
• Creates and/or maintains organized process documents and checklists for all functions of the position
• Assists with credit applications
• Miscellaneous journal entries for bank fees or discounts

Other Duties:

• Performs other duties as requested

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Basic accounting knowledge

• Proficient in excel or Google sheets
• Proactive, organized, detail-orientated self-starter
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance to management and employees verbally and in writing
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision

• Regular and reliable attendance

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of bookkeeping/accounting support experience
• Experience with the following software applications: Mac OS or Windows (general computer knowledge), Sage Intacct or QuickBooks , Google Suite, and Microsoft Excel
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

• Experience with the following software applications: Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or ServiceTitan

 Physical Demands:

• Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed
• Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
• Ability to sit/stand at workstation for extended periods of time
• Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
