Position Summary
Our Retail Banking Trainer will have a passion for building relationships with retail bankers, internal partners, and our technology providers to facilitate a training program that creates a consistent expertise across the entire bank footprint. You will be an expert on procedures, compliance and technology that supports the First Bank Texas Retail Banking line of business. The person in this position will collaborate and use a hands-on approach to training and assisting in our branches to ensure individual success and customer satisfaction.
Performs any function, within scope of authority and expertise, to foster the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers and co-workers through various training activities. Strive for excellence in creating experts and consistent processes across First Bank Texas.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a Retail Bank training program encompassing procedures, technology, and products
- Conduct training for new employees as well as ongoing training for existing team members
- Work with various technology partners to become an expert on system functionality
- Partner with deposit operations and project management to implement new technology and products to Retail Banking
- Create and implement a monthly training calendar
- Maintain front line proficiency by taking occasional shifts in the Universal Banker role.
Desired Qualifications
- At least three (3) years banking experience
- In-depth knowledge of both teller and personal banking operations
- Excellent interpersonal skills – verbal and listening proficiency
- Strong attention to detail
- Passion for providing outstanding customer service
- Collaboration across all areas of the bank is a must
- Must exhibit a high level of professionalism to reflect expectations of the front-line team
