Area Manager

Who we are: Valvoline Instant Oil Change/QAS Management

Position we are hiring for: Area Manager/ Carolinas

The Area Manager is primarily responsible for directing production, distribution, and operations for branch service centers in assigned territory. Responsible for performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Core Duties:

· Manage 5-7 Service Center Managers who supervise 6-9 employees in the VIOC service centers. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these unites

· Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws

· Responsible for interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems

· Develops plans for efficient use of materials, machines and employees

· Coordinates production, distribution, warehousing and sales in accordance with established policies, principles and procedures

· Review timesheets

· Reviews production cost and product quality

· Modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of division

Desired Skills/ Experience:

· Experience as an Area Manager and/or Service Center Manager at a Valvoline Instant Oil Change location

· College degree preferred

· Developed competencies such as analytical, project management, problem solving, customer service, training, delegation, interpersonal skills and leadership

· At least one year management experience

· At least three years customer service experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
