Smashburger Restaurant Supervisor Responsibilities
Lead the restaurant team during a shift to ensure that every guest has a memorable, Gold Standard experience
Team work! Must be able to work with others and communicate effectively with employees in a busy restaurant environment
Delegate responsibilities to the employees
Be a menu expert, follow Smashburger’s prep and menu recipe standards to prepare guest orders at each station in the restaurant
Maintains high food quality and attractive food appearance, made according to Smashburger specifications
Interact with guests by visiting tables after food delivery to ensure the experience has been Gold Standard
Follow checklists and proven systems to set up, stock and close the entire restaurant
Coach and recognize employees throughout the shift
Facilitate shift huddles; sharing communication and direction with the employees
Foster and value a safe work environment by following all personal and food safety and security standards; ensures employees are doing the same
Values integrity and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching
Follow Smashburger cash handling procedures
Follow all policies and procedures as outlined by Smashburger
Complete any other tasks assigned time to time by the management team
Smashburger Restaurant Supervisor Requirements
Must be 18 years old
Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time and to move and lift boxes of food/ supplies up to 50 lbs.; ability to work in high temperature
Experience working as a shift leader in a restaurant, retail or hospitality setting preferred
Ability to successfully complete training program
Show up on time to work variable hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by Smashburger, local, state, and federal employment regulations
Must be able to produce authorized U.S. work documents; Smashburger participates in E-verify
