Restaurant Supervisor

Reports to: Floor Manager

Summary

Supervisors are the liaison between staff members and the floor manager. Helping WOW guests, while supporting fellow staff members and aiding in manager needs

Principal Activities & Responsibilities

• Opportunity to lead daily shifts
• Monitor open dining areas
• Communicate with the floor manager
• Knowing and working to get to sales and labor goals
• Staff lead - setting a good example and positive attitude
• Managing breaks
• Assigning side work stations

Job Requirements

• Must be the minimum age of 18
• Ability to memorize and learn our menu
• Ability to work under stressful situations
• Ability to read and interpret simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• Ability to write simple correspondence
• Ability to present information in one-on-one and/or small group situations to guests and other team members of the organization
• Ability to work with team members without judgement or criticism

Level of Authority & Restrictions

• Supervising other team members on shift

Physical & Mental Demands

• Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of times
• Must be able to handle guest complaints and respond appropriately

Working Conditions & Environment

• Must be able to handle high volume environment
• Is required to work all shifts, weekends, holidays and special events as needed

Mandatory Requirements

• Must obtain food workers permit
• Must obtain MAST permit if over 18 years old
• Must have employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to memorize our menu
