Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Mexta. We are looking for a full-time and experienced supervisor here to lead at an upscale casual Mexican restaurant downtown on 6th and Congress Street. We strive for a genuine approach to our dining experience and are looking for an individual with great interpersonal communication skills, conflict management, and ability to assist managers in various tasks. Job Duties:

• Follow supervisor closing tasks for the entire restaurant
• Navigating Toast point of sale system
• Aiding the manager in various tasks
• Monitoring the dining room floor and aiding in conflict resolution
• Scheduling and staffing
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food and beverage team
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally
• Foster a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and promotion
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism and dedication to excellence

Experience:
-Proven experience in food service supervision, preferably in a restaurant or hotel setting
-Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including shift management, bartending, and food production
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations effectively
- Demonstrated ability to supervise a team
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in computer systems using point of sale

Food Handlers Safety Certification and TABC (can acquire after employment)
