    The incumbent in this position is responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of Player Development programs to attract and acquire high-value players to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat visitation. The incumbent is also responsible for managing the departmental processes and directing the PD Team to realize their revenue targets, guest contact and conversion goals.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

  • Maintains departmental work schedule to ensure proper balance of telemarketing time, casino floor duties and support of special events.
  • Provides supervisory support for the Director of Player Development to ensure all team members are provided with training, coaching, guidance, and access to the necessary resources to accomplish established objectives.
  • Keeps team informed of all casino promotions and special events.
  • Manages inventory and player criteria to maximize yielding for hotel rooms, slot & table game tournaments and special events.
  • Assists the Director of Player Development in the execution of all ad-hoc telemarketing campaigns in QCI.
  • Manages all suite assignments to ensure that the best guests are accommodated.
  • Provides leadership support to the Player Development staff and in the absence of the Director of Player Development makes comping decisions for situations involving high value guests and responds to senior management requests and directives.
  • Supports the Director of Player Development’s efforts to aggressively drive host activity to attain individual revenue goals and objectives.
  • Effectively manages the team’s responses to detractors and other guest complaints.
  • Approves all guest coding requests received through QCI coding request portal.
  • Assigns qualified un-hosted guests on a regular basis.
  • Assists in the maintenance of all account assignments by preparing data to validate coding and un-coding requests.
  • Safeguards the confidential nature of all departmental and company records.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all electronic gaming machines, player tracking systems, promotions, events, entertainment and general property information.
  • Keeps informed of competitive promotions and offerings.
  • Safeguards the confidential nature of all departmental and company records.
  • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned.
  • Guides and advises Hosts for better performance and authorizes certain high value requests from Hosts for guests.
  • Perform work regularly and predictably.
  • Cleans and sanitizes work and public spaces.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education And /Or Experience Requirements:
    (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis) This knowledge and these skills are typically acquired through a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a closely related field, and 5 to 7 years of experience in Player Development or overall gaming operations with one year in a supervisory capacity.
    Additional Requirements:
    (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):
  • Must obtain and maintain valid licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must successfully pass drug screening.
  • Prior experience in the Gaming industry strongly preferred.
  • Prior experience in Tribal Gaming preferred.
  • Prior experience opening new properties/outlets preferred.
  • Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
    Knowledge Of:
  • Understanding and experience in the Northern California’s regional gaming market.
  • Operations, services and activities of a comprehensive marketing and database programs.
  • The Gaming industry, including telemarketing, sales and incentive programs.
  • Procedures, methods, and equipment including computers and applicable software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets, and databases to include excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Pertinent federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations.

  • This position spends time on the Casino floor and is subject to varying levels of crowds, noise, and second-hand smoke, and the severity of which depends upon guest volume.
