Restaurant Greeter is responsible for greeting customers in a friendly manner and escorting guests to tables. Monitors guests needs and the workflow of the restaurant and seats customers accordingly. Being a Restaurant Greeter opens and closes sections with the increase or decrease in the volume of guests. Updates the reservation book and takes advance reservations. Additionally, Restaurant Greeter may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Restaurant Greeter may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. You are the first smiling face our guests see and the first friendly voice they hear. Greeters will be stationed at the front of The Mercantile to ensure that visitors always have access to directions, guidance, and assistance throughout their experience. Your primary job focus will be near the entrance as the welcoming team, and assisting guests with finding seating.

Help answer guest questions

Know key facts about the town of Pawhuska, The Pioneer Woman, and The Drummond Family.

Maintain waitlist of guests and accurately and efficiently page them when their tables are ready

Assist servers in picking up trash, bussing, pre-bussing, keeping the restaurant clean and tidy

Take to go orders

Take reservations as needed

Seat guests at tables
