    Summary : We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Restaurant Operations to join our leadership team. This position is essential for the growth of our organization and requires a highly skilled and self-motivated individual with a passion for people and culture.

    The ideal candidate needs to be able to stay focused on results, even in the face of changing conditions. They should have a combination of culinary expertise and strong business acumen to oversee all aspects of the restaurant's operations, including front-of-house management and back-of-house efficiency.

    The Director of Restaurant Operations will need to be a strategic thinker who can drive revenue growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure operational excellence.

    They must also possess values of service, integrity, and humility, be independent, relational, growth-minded, organized, a critical thinker, and have a great understanding of how to collaborate with all business functions to elevate business performance and grow our team.

    Job Responsibilities : Strategic Planning and Business Development :

    • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, drive revenue growth, and expand market reach.
    • Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and competitive differentiation.
    • Collaborate with senior management to set goals, budgets, and performance targets for restaurant operations.

    Operational Oversight :

    • Provide leadership and direction to restaurant managers and staff, ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
    • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house service, back-of-house operations, and kitchen management.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement operational best practices to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and enhance the overall guest experience.

    Financial Management :

    • Develop and manage budgets for restaurant operations, monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.
    • Analyze financial reports and performance metrics to track profitability, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Implement cost-control measures to manage food and labor costs while maintaining quality and service standards.

    Food Quality Control :

    1. Maintain strict quality control standards to ensure that all food products meet or exceed company and industry standards.

    2. Conduct regular inspections of ingredients, finished dishes, and food presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.

    3. Implement procedures for monitoring food waste, portion control, and cost efficiency without compromising quality.

    Creative Collaboration :

    1. Collaborate with the management team to develop special event menus, promotions, and culinary experiences that drive guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

    2. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality ingredients and products that meet the restaurant's standards and budgetary requirements.

    Customer Experience and Quality Assurance :

    • Ensure that all guests receive exceptional service and hospitality, exceeding their expectations at every touchpoint.
    • Implement quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
    • Monitor guest feedback and online reviews, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Develop and implement training programs to educate staff on customer service best practices and brand standards.

    Leadership and Team Development :

    • Recruit, hire, train, and mentor restaurant managers and staff, fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
    • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support professional development and performance improvement.
    • Promote a positive work environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all team members.
    • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional development to cultivate employee growth and retention.

    Compliance and Risk Management :

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and sanitation regulations and company policies and procedures.
    • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential hazards and liabilities in the restaurant environment.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in restaurant operations, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
    • Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Proven ability to drive revenue growth, achieve business objectives, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
    • Knowledge of culinary trends, food safety standards, and industry best practices.
    • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
