Respiratory Therapist - Home Care works in a home care environment and assists in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases. Being a Respiratory Therapist - Home Care treats patients with pressure breathing, mechanical ventilation, positive pressure breathing, humidity/medicated aerosol therapy, medical gas administration, pulmonary drainage procedures, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is an impairment. Additionally, Respiratory Therapist - Home Care operates oxygen and other therapeutic gas and mist equipment. Requires a credential of Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Requires an associate's degree. Typically reports to a manager. Respiratory Therapist - Home Care's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. Certification and/or licensing in the position's specialty is the main requirement. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

Atrio Home Health is the home health agency for Holland Home, Clark Retirement, and Resthaven! We are growing and seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Grand Rapids Team!
Our home health Physical Therapists make home visits to our clients, enjoying 1-on-1 client care and control over your own schedule which offers flexibility and an autonomy not found in other opportunities!. Our territory focuses on 35-mile radius around downtown Grand Rapids. Our home care professionals work with clients who live within their assigned area to maximize their effectiveness and avoid unnecessary travel as much as possible.
This position requires licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Michigan. Due to the autonomous nature of this position, we require a minimum of one year of experience as a Physical Therapist. That being said, we have a strong team of seasoned home care professionals (thanks to extremely low turnover!) to mentor and guide their teammates. Geriatric experience is highly valued. Candidates must have reliable transportation to make home visits and provide proof of auto insurance.
