Lehan Drugs, Inc., a locally owned and trusted pharmacy and home medical supply company in Northern Illinois for over 75 years is currently seeking to hire a Respiratory Care Team Manager.
Our knowledgeable team of sleep coaches and respiratory therapists provide excellent care from first contact, through set up, resupply, and address any other concerns the patient may have with their respiratory care.
The new manager will be responsible for leadership of our sleep coaches and respiratory therapists, ensuring proper scheduling and coverage at our different locations as well as continued training for staff. Some medical experience is preferred but not required.
The manager will also be responsible for ensuring that staff is following processes and procedures so that the team can meet the established metrics for the department as well as ensuring that we meet the promises we make to our providers, patients, and peers.
Key components of the management position beyond the above-mentioned duties will be providing referral source management, including managing communication with providers, identifying issues, and following up with providers in a timely fashion, working with our sales team and providers regarding new machines, new product lines, documentation, and process compliance.
The Respiratory Care Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance - From overseeing completion of action groups and tasks, oversight of our NIV program, to ensuring proper procedures are in place and being followed.
Requirements:
3 years of team management experience.
Possess a strong working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive working relationships and ensure established metrics for the department.
Ability to travel to other locations weekly.
Some medical experience is helpful, but not required.
