Affordable Housing Resource Coordinator

New Jersey Community Development Corporation (NJCDC) is a multi-faceted community development and social service agency providing services to 4,000 children and families each day. We seek to identify candidates for the position of Affordable Housing Resource Coordinator. The Coordinator will be the organization’s key staff member to assist members of the public with information and assistance in obtaining affordable rental units.
Working out of our Neighborhood Help Center, the Coordinator will be responsible for a number of tasks including, but not limited to the following:
· Provide individual counseling sessions to individuals in need of affordable housing;
· Host regular workshops related to affordable housing needs;
· Create and maintain a database of local affordable housing units to establish a centralized record of currently vacant units.
Two years of experience working in a position that requires knowledge of affordable housing assets is required, as is a bachelor’s degree. Bilingual fluency (Spanish) is strongly preferred.
