    About the Role
    As the Coordinator, Resource Development Operations you support the operations and systems focused activities of the Development and Membership teams by processing gifts, overseeing the execution of donor stewardship correspondence, and providing general reporting.

    As a member of the Relationship Development group, you support entry of moves management efforts to increase revenue and annual philanthropic support to $6M.
     
    This is a newly created position for this team.

    Your key responsibilities are:
    • Processing mail-in and online gifts, membership renewals, pledges, and grants into databases and tracking systems, including scanning, coding, copying, filing, and alerting Finance of entries.
    • Updating and maintaining development records, input into database, including contact reports, gift related notes, and other information on gift processing and benefit fulfillment.
    • Coordinating donor relations and stewardship efforts, including timely and personalized receipting and acknowledgement process for development and professional membership transactions; tracking multi-year gift agreements, and coordinating pledge reminders.
    • Tracking renewals of professional memberships for accurate reporting and management of membership benefit access.
    • Working collaboratively with Finance to complete regular reconciliations to verify donations and professional membership renewals are accounted for, allocated, and reported.
    • Coordinating and updating a suite of automated reports and help develop fundraising and membership dashboards that provide insight on fundraising performance and forecasting, including:
      • Coordinating list pulls and data queries for invitations, appeals, renewals, newsletters, analysis, etc.
      • Supporting the reporting of fundraising and membership metrics for analysis by the Group.
    • Supporting fundraising efforts up updating moves management interactions in database.
    • Monitoring the Development and Membership inboxes, responding to inquiries, requests, or routing emails to the team.
    • Helping coordinate production and mailing of appeals and renewals.
    • Supporting the management of team activities including, scheduling internal meetings, coordinating team agendas, and providing administrative event support (i.e. managing zoom details and serving as host).
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • 1 – 2 years’ experience in a Development/Advancement office of a nonprofit.
    • Operational skills and knowledge of database functions systems required.
      • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Structured Query Language (SQL) coding experience preferred.
    • Proficient functional knowledge of Adobe, Microsoft Office or Google Suite, particularly Word and Excel, including formatting and formulas.
    • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

    Things to know about our work hours and in-office requirements:
    • We have a 7.50-hour day, for a total of a 37.50 work week.
    • Our core business hours are 10:00 am – 4:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday.
    • Our Hybrid Work Policy requires employees to work from the office at least one (1) day a week. We encourage our staff to work from the office more than one day a week. Your manager can request that you work from the office additional days as business needs necessitate.
    Compensation and benefits we offer:
    • The salary range for our Coordinator level positions is $55,000 to $65,000.
