Residential Property Manager manages the daily operations of one or more residential properties or communities. Oversees sales/leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and other support activities. Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The property manager is responsible for oversight of the day to day operations of a portfolio of properties. They will provide support and management for the properties and the rest of the team. Responsibilities include monitoring rent collections and delinquencies, lease enforcement, coordination with the maintenance department, resident and investor relationships, annual operating budget creation, auditing financial reports and working closely with local and state housing compliance departments. Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
-At least two years of Property Management or Property Maintenance experience
- Candidates must be upbeat, friendly, tech-savvy, and team players
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to interact with co-workers, supervisors, residents, and the general public in a professional and pleasant manner
