Residential Property Manager manages the daily operations of one or more residential properties or communities. Oversees sales/leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and other support activities. Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Assistant Property Manager

  • We are currently looking for an experienced LIHTC Assistant Manager to join our team for one of our apartment communities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager however we are willing to train the right candidate with excellent leasing, customer service and sales experience. LIHTC experience is required.

    The Assistant Manager will be expected to be experienced in leasing, customer service, sales, resident retention, recertification’s, marketing, rent collections and assisting the Property Manager in any additional duties assigned by the Manager. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maximizing market rents and maintaining high occupancy levels through effective marketing and leasing policies and procedures.

    Job Duties:

    • Handles rent and final accounts.
    • Maintains Delinquency and Collections.
    • Assists the property manager in attracting tenants by advertising vacancies, obtaining referrals from current tenants, explaining the advantages of location and services, and showing units.
    • Assists the property manager by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules, inspecting vacant units, planning renovations, and contracting with landscaping and snow removal services.
    • Assists the property manager in ensuring that the property is maintained and that service requests are taken care of in a timely manner.
    • Helps maintain Resident Retention plan by following up and securing renewals.
    • The position is hourly with benefits.

    Job Requirements:

    • Experience in leasing (Required)
    • Typing and computer skills
    • Excellent communication and closing skills
    • Understanding of property management concepts and issues

    • Basic understanding of accounting and property financials
