Residential Property Manager manages the daily operations of one or more residential properties or communities. Oversees sales/leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and other support activities. Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations - Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards - Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain tenants - Coordinate with maintenance staff to address repair requests and ensure timely completion of work orders - Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and disputes in a professional and timely manner - Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and lease agreements - Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality service delivery - Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting property management Skills: - Proficient in property management software such as OneSite or Yardi - Knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations and compliance - Strong administrative skills with attention to detail - Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with facilities management principles - Basic understanding of property maintenance procedures - Sales skills to effectively market available units and attract tenants Qualifications: - Previous experience in property management or related field - Knowledge of local laws and regulations governing property management - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
