Residential Property Manager manages the daily operations of one or more residential properties or communities. Oversees sales/leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, and other support activities. Being a Residential Property Manager may be responsible for managing property budgets, collections and/or property improvement initiatives. May require a bachelor's degree in related area. Additionally, Residential Property Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Residential Property Manager supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Residential Property Manager typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. RESPONSIBILITIES:
~ Conducting move in, move out, and occupied unit inspections. Delegating work orders, lease-up, qualifying applicants, completing annual certifications, ordering supplies, and collecting rent among other duties.
~Experience in affordable housing is preferred, but we will consider other management/program experience.
~Applicants must have a professional appearance, be computer literate and have a strong ability to work with the general public, specifically seniors.
~Duties will include oversight of daily operations, pre-qualifying applicants, leasing, overseeing maintenance and grounds employees, conducting occupied inspections, organizing work orders, ordering supplies, annual recertification's, etc.
-This position will require a lot of walking and the ability to climb stairs.
