Residential Living Supervisor supervises the work of a residential living staff. Provides training to resident assistants on proper care giving techniques. Being a Residential Living Supervisor may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. May require an associate degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Residential Living Supervisor typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Residential Living Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. Thorough knowledge of functional area under supervision. Education/ Experience:- Four-year college degree or university.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.
- One year of supervisory experience in personal care services or a related program.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Other Requirements:- Motor vehicle record which meets agency standards for approval.
- A valid Minnesota or Wisconsin Driver’s license.
- Completion of a health questionnaire and TB gold test.
- Required agency training.
- Pass a caregiver background study.
