Residential Living Assistant, Sr. provides individualized care to the patients of a group home or residential living facility. Assists the patients on daily basis with personal care and hygiene. Being a Residential Living Assistant, Sr. transports patients within the facility or on supervised outings. May assist with meetings and appointments with healthcare providers. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant, Sr. administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Residential Living Assistant, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Responsibilities Include:
• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (such as minimal assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, eating).
• Encourage and assist residents with participation in activities that support their physical, mental, and spiritual health.
• Assist residents with dining to include meal set up, serving meals and drinks, and assistance with cleanup following meals.
• Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, charts, reports, etc.
• Assist residents to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
• Follow the policies and procedures of the facility in accordance with regulations.
Requirements:
• A great attitude, willingness to have fun, a passion for helping others, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
• Must be at least 16 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.
• Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility, which include a medical and physical examination.
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work as a team, great collaboration.
• Must be able to pass applicable background checks.
• Weekend and holiday rotations required.

The Wilber Care Center is currently hiring Assisted Living Residential Technicians for the following shifts:
Full Time/Part Time – Day and Evening Shifts as well as on-call.
We offer flexible schedules and shorter shifts as needed.
Pay is Based on experience
