Residential Living Assistant provides individualized care to the patients of a group home or residential living facility. Assists the patients on daily basis with personal care and hygiene. Being a Residential Living Assistant transports patients within the facility or on supervised outings. Administers and records medications given to residents. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Residential Living Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Weekend Day Shift - 8 am - 8 pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Possible fill in shifts when needed.
This is a position in a Long Term Care Facility for clients with disabilities. The LSI will be teaching daily living skills to the clients by helping in the kitchen, giving baths, cleaning bedrooms, working on academics, exercising and socializing. You will also be monitoring for health and safety of each client.

Qualifications and Skills
High School Diploma or GED or 2 years verifiable experience with clients with disabilities. Must be able to pass background check, drug screen and CPR class. CNA not required.
