Residential Care Medical Director plans and directs all aspects of clinical care at an assisted living or skilled nursing facility. Ensures that clinical programs operate in compliance with all applicable regulations. Being a Residential Care Medical Director provides patient consultations as needed and manages relationships between staff and attending physicians. Advises non-medical management on clinical and patient related matters and policies. Additionally, Residential Care Medical Director requires a MD degree from an accredited school. Requires a state license to practice medicine. Typically reports to top management. The Residential Care Medical Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Residential Care Medical Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.   • Residential Youth Care, Inc. (RYC) has been providing residential behavioral health services to Alaska's youth for more than 25 years. RYC operates based on a philosophy emphasizing a culture of care and the building of therapeutic relationships through the development of positive, supportive, and planned interventions delivered by knowledgeable, empathetic, and skilled staff. RYC's Maintenance/Custodian is responsible for performing routine building cleaning and maintenance tasks for all RYC buildings, locations and grounds.

    Position reports to the Facilities Maintenance Director. They assure that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restocking soap and paper supplies, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, changing light bulbs, and ensuring proper care of cleaning equipment and supplies and other duties as assigned.

    Abilities Required:

    • Able to use a variety of cleaning and maintenance tools and supplies to perform related work as required
    • Able to understand and follow standard safety practices
    • Able to manage daily maintenance tasks and schedule monthly, quarterly, seasonal and annual deep cleaning, and assist in maintenance projects
    • Demonstrate strong customer service skills
    • Establish, maintain and foster positive and effective working relationships

    Job Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • 21 years of age or older
    • Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 75 lbs. or heavier with assistance and/ or use of proper equipment
    • Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments with inclement weather conditions
    • Valid Alaska Drivers License and clean driving record
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check

    Job Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt
    Hours Per Week: 40
    Shift: Varies
    Hourly Pay: $17.00-19.00/hr
