We are looking for a Direct Support Professional to provide support to individuals in a directed care setting in their own home. The home is a behavioral home that works with individuals with moderate to severe behaviors with court involvement. We are looking for an individual to join our team who is flexible with changing schedules, team oriented, able to work with others and independently, and able to follow all policies and procedures set forth. We are looking for a team member who has a passion to serve. The responsibilities below are not limited to the full job description.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene including but not limited to medication administration and transportation as needed. Assisting clients with activities of daily living and leisure, compliance with ISP/IPP goals and objectives
• Ongoing supervision 24/7/ability to work independently and with others, ability to take charge and planning of each day/shift
• High housekeeping task ability/daily household task completion and implementation/meal preparation
• Maintain communication with parents or guardians via intercom or phone
• Be an active role model and model good behavior
• Ability to work various/changing schedules
• Ability to effectively communicate with others including speaking and writing
• Ability to take directive from management
• Ability to work with residents who have high behavioral needs
• Many tasks not limited to above

Schedule: Schedules will fluctuate. We are currently looking for an individual that can work various shifts/days/including weekends/holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
