We are currently looking for Care Providers in the Los Angeles area.
Available Night Shift Positions that are needed will be providing direct care to consumers with developmental disabilities in a residential care home setting.
Overnight Position Details:
Hours: 9pm-9am
Must be available to work weekends
$18.00 Per Hour
What We’re Looking for: We're currently seeking qualified applicants with an interest in provide personal care and training within an Adult Residential Facility for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are looking for someone with excellent writing and time-management skills and the ability to work independently. Applicants must also have the ability to deal effectively with staff, clients and outside community. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Train residents in self-help, daily living and community integration activities* Oversee household maintenance and meal preparation
* Implement residents’ Individual Service Plans
* Data collection and prepare data summaries
* Prepare schedule of activities and adhere to schedule* Attend staff meetings and in-service trainings as scheduled
* Assist residents with self-administration of medications
* Maintain records on resident’s personal and incidentals account
* All other duties as assigned by the Home Manager
Certifications Required:
1) Driver's License or Identification
2) CPR/AED and First Aid
3) Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
4) Direct Support Professional Y1/Y2
5) Be able to pass a background check and received a fingerprint clearance card from the Department of Public Safety
4)Have Reliable Form of Transportation
