Actively involved, at the executive level, in the leadership of the organization. Organizes and administers areas of Resident Care Services to attain the facility's objectives established by the Governing Body. Manages nursing services on a 24-hour basis for a group of clinical services. Plans and supervises patient care, manages nursing and support personnel assuring that appropriate continuing education is maintained, and resolves emergency and problem situations. Responsibility typically includes developing or contributing to annual operating budget and monitoring expenses within prescribed parameters.
