Job Title: Constructions Foreman
Starting Pay: $24.04/hr ($50,000/annually) plus bonuses available
Six Paid Holidays: New Year Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Paid Time Off: 5 days per year in first year of employment. 10 days per year after 1 year of continuous employment.

Burkett Residential is looking for a highly motivated and experienced foreman to lead a crew in the construction of decks and fences. In this role you will be expected to have the ability to competently build a deck or fence without supervision as well as lead a crew of 2-5 people. Experience in construction is required. Should have reliable transportation to work and punctuality is a must. Must be willing to travel to different jobsites throughout the week and potentially multiple jobsites in one day. Most jobsites will be located in Lawrence but we do also service Topeka, Olathe, and the greater KC metro, as well as surrounding communities and townships.
Qualifications
· Proven experience as a foreman/apprentice
· In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, safety guidelines
· Ability to read drawings, plans, and blueprints
· Excellent organizational and leadership skills
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Ability to delegate tasks
· Aptitude in math
· Problem-solving abilities
· Good physical condition and stamina
· High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade
· Ability to regularly lift 50lbs or more
· A valid driver's license
Responsibilities
