Residential Youth Care, Inc. (RYC) has been providing residential behavioral health services to Alaska's youth for more than 25 years. RYC operates based on a philosophy emphasizing a culture of care and the building of therapeutic relationships through the development of positive, supportive, and planned interventions delivered by knowledgeable, empathetic, and skilled staff. RYC's Maintenance/Custodian is responsible for performing routine building cleaning and maintenance tasks for all RYC buildings, locations and grounds.
Position reports to the Facilities Maintenance Director. They assure that facilities are available for use and consistently maintained in a safe and clean condition. Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restocking soap and paper supplies, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash receptacles, changing light bulbs, and ensuring proper care of cleaning equipment and supplies and other duties as assigned.
