Behavioral Health Clinical Director
Residential Youth Care (RYC) is seeking qualified, licensed applicants for a full-time Behavioral Health Clinical Director. The position oversees clinical operations, staff management, regulatory compliance, and manages and maintains clinical service systems within the agency. The Clinical Director ensures quality behavioral health services, develops policies, maintains accurate records, facilitates efficient and effective service delivery, oversees client progress and treatment, participates in staff training and development, and represents the agency in the community and with other agencies as part of the senior management of RYC. Their leadership drives improvement and supports the organization’s success.
Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field required. Must posses State of Alaska licensure with ability to provide clinical supervision. Preference given to those with experience working with adolescents and families, experience in a residential treatment setting, and/or substance abuse certification. Familiarity with Medicaid billing and documentation a plus. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, organized, have excellent interpersonal and verbal/ written communication skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced work environment, dealing effectively and skillfully with volatile situations.

RYC is a fast-growing community-based residential treatment home and behavioral health clinic that provides clinic and therapeutic behavioral health rehabilitation services to clients age 10-18 (residential), focusing on 15 key social skills for life success. RYC offers a short-term level II emergency stabilization program (45-90 days) in addition to long-term level III residential treatment (90-180 days).
