Small group of residential care homes looking for Assistant Manager. Schedule is Monday to Friday 8-5, and on call every other weekend. This schedule will fluctuate depending on staffing needs. This position requires a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities include filling in on floor caring for Residents at homes if coverage unavailable. Training caregivers, Learning policies and procedures ensuring they are strictly followed, errands for houses, and Residents. This position is the main source of transportation to and from appointments for residents. Company vehicle available. Other duties include some office tasks, resident appointment calendar management, and appointment scheduling with follow through. This position is out in the community interacting with many health care providers. Professionalism and reliability is essential. Excellent communication skills are needed to navigate this position. Must be open to learning not only new tasks but also management and communication skills.
This position can be very fast paced. Organizational skills, and flexibility are a must to ensure success. Staff will be looking to you as a leader, must be able to resolve conflicts among staff and remain professional.
