Job Description
Durham NC's EvE Bio is looking for a receptor biochemist/pharmacologist to join its assay development group at the scientist level. This position is responsible for adapting existing and/or developing novel biochemical and/or cell line-based assays for assessing the pharmacology of compounds at various target families, including G protein-coupled receptors, nuclear hormone receptors, and protein kinases, among others. Candidates must have experience working with one or multiple of these receptor families, including experience assessing their activities in cell-based assays - preferably in a drug development/discovery context. Candidates should also have experience in molecular biology (e.g., cloning) and/or tissue culture.

Requirements
· BS or higher degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacology)
· Experience with biochemical and/or cell-based receptor assays
· Molecular biology techniques

· An ability to work both independently and with a team
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· A resident of North Carolina’s Research Triangle-area
