We are Prusa Research. In Prague, we develop and manufacture 3D printers that the whole world loves. Our customers are companies such as Lockheed Martin, Skoda Auto, or SpaceX, but mainly hundreds of thousands of homes, workshops, and garages of people who have discovered the beauty of 3D printing. They manage to make spare parts for things they would normally throw away, prototype products for their businesses, model and print accessories for their hobbies, and even for small batch production. 3D printing is taking off at an incredible pace and we've been at the top of the peloton for a few years now. And at the same time, we know very well that this is just the beginning!

Who are we looking for?

Prusa Research has expanded from 2 to almost 900 employees within a decade, so our rapid growth necessitates a global team. We are now seeking a US Market Developer/Manager with experience in e-commerce or business development. The ideal candidate is independent, communicative, reliable, and possesses a get-it-done attitude.

We're committed to delivering quality and inspiring content to our 3D printing community, focusing on the added value of our products rather than just sales.

Given our goal of enhancing our presence in the USA, particularly at strategic events mainly on the East Coast, proximity to major urban centers like New York, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia would be very beneficial.

What skills are we looking for?

Essential ability and experience:

• Marketing, business development, or related field of experience.
• Teamwork skills and willingness to share knowledge.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Positive attitude towards electronics and/or gadgets.
• Skilled and deeply interested in 3D printing.

Big pluses:

• Connections with local media, content creators, and/or publishers.
• Industry leads in manufacturing, production, or education.
• Knowledge of the local 3D printing (3DP) community.

Key responsibilities include:

• Brand awareness and market share improvement.
• Conducting market research and reporting.
• Building brand recognition.
• Managing market intelligence and competition.
• Identifying new business opportunities.
• Engaging in demo days, product presentations, and trade shows.
• Providing product feedback and improvement suggestions.
• Acquiring partnerships and managing cooperations.
