Being a Research and Development Supervisor ensures proper procedure, and helps devise new development techniques. A level I supervisor is considered a working supervisor with little authority for personnel actions. Additionally, Research and Development Supervisor may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Working team member that may validate or coordinate the work of others on a support team. Suggests improvements to process, is a knowledge resource for other team members. · Develop PLM Vision & Strategy with all stakeholders
· Be the change agent to successfully deploy and increase the value PLM brings
· Ensure process, training and documentation is current
· Manage the PLM roadmap with stakeholders
· Understand customer needs and translation into IT requirements
· Oversee data quality in PLM
· Align with other processes & tools across the lifecycle of a product ensuring traceability
