Job Summary:
The Center for Bioethics and Humanities, University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking 1-2 full time postdoctoral researcher to join our world-class multidisciplinary research group that focuses on empirical, policy-relevant research on topics at the intersection of bioethics and health policy. This is a one-year, grant-funded full-time position and may be renewed for a second year. (
The postdoctoral researcher will focus on examining the ethical, legal and social implications of ingestible electroceuticals, mRNA drug delivery devices and related emerging technologies. The postdoctoral researcher will be expected to significantly contribute to 1) a scoping review of ethical and regulatory literature relevant to these novel therapies, 2) qualitative semi-structured interviews to understand key stakeholder perspectives, 3) a survey to members of the public regarding key ELSI topics pertinent to these novel therapies, and 4) a series of roundtables grounded in a modified Delphi method to develop best practice guidelines. The post-doctoral researcher will have the opportunity for authorship on academic papers emerging from the work described above.
