Position InformationPosition TitleResearch Associate
Job DescriptionThe Research Associates report to the Principal Investigator and performs research duties for the Army Corps of Engineer’s ERDC “Operational Technology (OT) and Internet of Things (IoT) Asset Identification and Management” project in the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering and College of Engineering & Computer Science. This project is in collaboration with the Tandy School of Computer Science and the School of Cyber Studies in the College of Engineering & Computer Science and appointment may be in either of these programs in addition to Electrical & Computer Engineering based on mutual consent of all parties.
Required Qualifications
Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience as a researcher or investigator in an academic setting. Familiarity and/or proficiency with network security, Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and networks, network infrastructure, sensor technologies, security economics, artificial intelligence (AI), and/or machine learning (ML).
Physical DemandsSome light lifting may be necessary
