Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees all activities of a residence hall. Responsible for student housing assignment, maintenance of facilities, and safety of residents. Being a Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) ensures students follow college/university conduct policies and takes appropriate disciplinary actions when rules are broken. Incumbent is not given room and board at the residence hall as part of the employment arrangement. Additionally, Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) oversees maintenance and renovation, purchase and inventory of supplies, assignment of semester rooms and summer housing, housekeeping functions, and management of student conduct and discipline. Room and board in the residence hall is not included in the terms of employment. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Res. Hall Manager (No Room, Board) supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes. To be a Res. As a part-time Weekend Outlet Associate / Sales Floor & Product Handler you play an essential role in creating an exceptional experience for our customers as you support the behind-the-scenes work of our outlet. You are comfortable using your hands and prefer working on your feet in a fast-paced, retail environment, but you also appreciate engaging with customers to complete their shopping experience with “wow” customer-service moments. You’ll join a team of positive people who love what they do as they represent the Room & Board brand and enjoy a sense of camaraderie in working together.
Schedule: In this part-time role as a product handler, you will work Saturdays and Sundays: 9:30am-6pm with one weekend off per month.
