Key Responsibilities: Cover breaking news with a focus on public safety and crime reporting. Develop worthy story tips into enterprise/feature stories. Utilize strong writing and reporting skills to engage our audience. Shoot compelling videos and leverage social media to amplify news reporting. Work effectively in a collaborative team environment. Skills and Qualifications: Proficient in AP writing and reporting. Ability to shoot video and use digital platforms effectively. Demonstrated initiative and urgency in news reporting. Strong teamwork and communication skills. College degree is required. This position requires working in our newsroom. Some (1-2 years) experience in news reporting is preferred.
