From Covid vaccines to obesity medications, big pharma has brought the world remarkable innovations over the past decade. But it's come at a steep cost. Drug prices are skyrocketing, adding to Americans' ever-increasing medical bills.
Bloomberg News is looking for an ambitious news breaker to cover the biggest US drug companies: Pfizer, J&J, Bristol-Myers and Merck, which are all in various stages of trying to reinvent themselves as some of their blockbuster drugs face generic competition later this decade.
You are an experienced and versatile reporter who can break news on dynamic and evolving corporate stories, analyze and translate scientific research and breakthroughs, and keep tabs on the enormous power the pharma industry wields as the largest industry lobby in Washington. You are motivated by scoops and the ability to conceive and execute ambitious enterprise and investigative projects that map out the future of big pharma.
WE'LL TRUST YOU TO:
- Break news that's meaningful

- Write clearly and quickly in a real-time news environment, including quarterly earnings
