As a Rental Agent, Here's What You Will Do:

The Sales Support/Rental Agent position works in an office based, team environment assisting our Sales Support and Operations Team. We have a Nationwide footprint serving the entire US from our corporate office. This position is in an office setting and does not interact face to face with customers or vendors, interaction with customers and vendors is via phone and email. Primary responsibilities will include handling the opening and closure of rental agreements and providing administrative and customer support for each aspect of the rental cycle. Additional responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the administrative cycle of opening rental agreements, the off-rent process and closure of rental agreements, including support of the billing process.
• Handle incoming customer communication via phone and email, providing answers to customers or redirecting to the appropriate team/individuals.
• Reconciling available fleet and coordinating movement of vehicles. Interacting with vendors and dealers via phone.
• Maintain vendor relationships.
• Perform various office administrative duties as needed including but not limited to filing, key reconciliation, project support and updating customer files.
• Assist in local delivery of rental vehicles, as needed.

Here's What it Will Take to be Successful in This Role:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 years college or associate degree preferred
• 1 year(s) experience in the rental industry (vehicle/equipment)
• A client-centric focus and personal commitment to providing best-in-class customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and proactively contribute innovative solutions
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Valid driver’s license
