Inside Sales (ISR) / Counter Sales Representative (CSR)

Asheville Hwy Rental is a family-owned party and equipment rental company in Spartanburg, SC. We are currently seeking an inside sales position who has an interest in our industry. As an inside sales rep you will be the face of our company and the key contact for our customers.

Candidate must be a quick learning, self-starter who possesses the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. If you are looking for a fast-paced, high-volume store, you have found the right place.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts for walk-in and call-in customers
• Identify customer needs & recommend products that best suit their needs
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with current customers through in-store interactions and warm calls on dormant accounts
• Generate new business leads and actively seek new accounts through social media leads and cold calls to potential customers and maintain call log
• Address and resolve service concerns when they arise
• Coordinate the company’s social media accounts with new weekly postings
• Communicate with managers any issues needing immediate attention
• Maintain a clean and presentable showroom and workspace
• Assist other associates and departments when necessary
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of previous sales experience is REQUIRED, previous rental experience a plus
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently to achieve goals in a fast-paced environment with exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication and phone skills, including warm and cold calling
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively with a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn rental software
• Ability to work Saturdays
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• High school diploma or GED, advanced degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift to 40 pounds, and stand or sit for long periods of time

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm; Saturday 7:30 am – 12:00 pm
• **MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS.

Pay Scale:

• $40K to 55K per year based on experience and work history.
