Areas of Accountability
Revenue Management
· Develop and manage relationships with OTA’s and other third-party distribution partners
· Execute allocation strategies to distribute inventory across channels in a way that yields highest and best use.
. Manage on-line presence; social media, websites, blogs, analytics
· Coordinate creation and analysis of companies marketing strategies, materials and campaigns
· Assure rental rate parity amongst competitive set and distribution channels
· Develop and implement inventory reports, models, projections and presentations
· Create and implement promotional offers
Hospitality
· Assure high level service delivery
· Oversee small front desk staff
· Implement industry best practices and standard operating procedures
· Manage relationships with PMS partners
· Respond to customer feedback from comment cards, on-line reviews, etc.
· Owner onboarding and ongoing care
Personal Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Hospitality Management, Analytics, Revenue Management, Yield Management, Finance, Accounting, General Business. MBA preferred.
Minimum 5-year related work experience in fields such as vacation rental or hotel revenue management, vacation club inventory management, digital marketing, roles with yield management functions such as inventory or revenue management with cruise lines, airlines, etc.
Must have demonstrated expertise in pricing concepts, yield management optimization and accommodations marketing strategies.
Advance Excel skills, experience with database and report writing software and Strong working knowledge and experience with OTA’s required.
Creative self-starter with the need for minimum supervision required. Innovative, analytical thinking skills with the ability to identify opportunities, and risks using a combination of tactical and strategic approaches. A servant’s heart and the ability resolve customer issues with grace and tact are important.
