  • Job Overview:

    The Quality Lab Tech position is a part-time opportunity responsible for maintaining quality in raw materials and finished products via testing and inspection throughout the purchasing and production processes.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    The Function of the Quality Lab Tech is to:

    1. Perform Raw Material sampling and testing

    2. Perform Finished Product sampling and testing

    3. Document and review test results

    4. Calibrate lab equipment

    Qualifications:

    • Education level: A high school diploma or equivalency is required.
    • Experience: At least 1 year of factory or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
    • Specific skills: The Quality Lab Tech should have the ability to work with lab equipment, understanding how to read graphs, data, and test results as they relate to desired metrics.
    • Personal characteristics: The Quality Lab Tech will have an acute attention to detail, exemplary fine motor skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Physical abilities: The Quality Lab Tech should have the ability to occasionally work in a loud environment. They are frequently required to use hands, fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls. The Administrative Assistant is required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. The requirement to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds while unloading trucks may occur.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $19.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
